Dragontree Dreambook + Planner 2019 review

This Dragontree Dreambook + Planner 2019 review covers the new features of the Dreambook + Planner. If you’d like to see a full review of the system, please see my post on the Rituals for Living – Dreambook + Planner.

Colors

New color – Petal

First of all, the planner comes in a new color! The color is called Petal, and it’s a limited run. The Dreambook + Planner does still come in the standard white. I took my copy of the planner outside to get a better idea of the color. It looks very red in the promotional material, and it’s actually a deep pink. (Click on a photo to see the enlarged version).

Now I’ve noticed while trying to get a good picture of this cover, that the exact color seems to shift, depending on the light in the room. Warmer (or more yellow) light makes it look red, while natural light brings out more of the pinks. In some lights there are tones of purple as well.

I absolutely love the new color, and purchased one for myself, and also a Dreambook + Planner in White for my husband.

Binding

The other really big news for the new Dreambook + Planner is that it is wire-bound. This small change means it will lay completely flat when open.

Speaking for myself, this is extremely welcome. My only real frustration has been that the Dragontree Dreambook + Planner for 2018 was bound like a softcover book, and therefore did not lay flat.

I’ve included some pictures of the example pages so you can tell exactly how it looks while open.

Other than those two design changes, the inside remains the same. It has the same great content and space to figure out what you really want, and then help on how to plan for it. It guides you through breaking Goals into Projects and Projects into Tasks (which are an actionable item you can put directly in your planner).

The planning portion includes the end of November 2018, so you don’t have to wait until next year to get begin working on your Dreambook + Planner for 2019.

Conclusion

I’m very excited to get started on next year’s planner, so I’m glad they included the entire month of December. Two thumbs up for the improvements to this year’s planner.

Do you have the new Dragontree Dreambook + Planner yet? Here’s where you can get your very own (and if you like the Petal color, act soon!): The Dragontree Books & Courses.

In addition, Briana Borten, founder of the Dragontree, is offering a series of free live video workshops to anyone who purchases a copy (or pdf) of the Dreambook + Planner during the month of October, 2018. In this workshop she’ll do some of her own planning and teach you how to best use your planner. (You can watch a replay if you’re not able to watch the live call).
